Southern California Association of Occupational Health Nurses

Southern California Association of Occupational Health Nurses is an organization that promotes and supports the specialized practice of Occupational & Environmental Health Nursing through professional development, leadership, education and networking, for the purpose of maintaining quality professional practice standards.

Occupational and environmental health nursing is the specialty practice that provides for and delivers health and safety programs and services to workers, worker populations and community groups. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from work-related and environmental hazards. Occupational and environmental health nurses (OHNs) have a combined knowledge of health and business that they blend with healthcare expertise to balance the requirement for a safe and healthful work environment with a “healthy” bottom line.

The San Diego and Central Coast chapters have joined forces with the Southern California Chapter.

There will be events in all parts of the region that will provide CEU and networking.   If you are a current member of those chapters you must contact AAOHN and change your chapter affiliation to Southern California or SCAOHN.  If you want to just join the chapter dues are $50 for one year and will include both the state and local chapter dues.

Registration and information about joining our chapter.

Thank you Recognition for our wonderful and caring SCAOHN Supporters. We very much appreciate what you have done for us and the community!
